The jade glaze is formed through a process of firing at 1200℃ (2190℉) in an oxidizing environment, allowing for the flow of glaze to crystallize beautifully. This glaze is complemented by a unique type of clay known as "ZI SHA," enhancing the beauty of its color. Due to its flowing glaze nature, which is influenced by gravity and movement during high-temperature kiln firing, this technique poses an exceptionally high degree of difficulty in production. It represents an ultra-challenging firing technique in pottery and porcelain, showcasing the skill of master artisans of old.
